FALLING TOO EASILY

Falling too easily

Brings you only heartbreak

And bitter tears in the end

EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD (3)

From Scotland’s stormy western isles

To the land of the rising sun

I will follow you to the ends of the earth

Because for me you’re the only one

YOU ARE DIVINELY DESIGNED

You are a beauty

And are divinely designed

But out of my reach

Those Memories Made on Teardrop Lake – (53) That’s why I Love you so Much

Dave Bingham and Ann O'Neill were students at Abbottsford University and had been dating for a several months before they made love for the first time, but after that first time when they took each other’s innocence, they could barely keep their hands off each other and when they spent a week of their Easter break staying at the Shallowfield Lodge Hotel they saw very little of the beautiful Dancingdean Forest or Teardrop Lake after all that was not why they were there.

One morning Ann was curled up beside him beneath the duvet with her head on his chest and she was panting and sighing after the exertion of their love making, and as she sighed he kissed the top of her head.

“Breakfast time I think” he said

“Good idea” she agreed

Dave knew that Ann wouldn’t get up and dress with him in the room, even though they had made love countless times, and he had seen her beautiful body up close and personal on many of those occasions, so he slipped out of bed and left her to sort herself out while he went into the bathroom to give her some privacy.

He sat on the edge of the bath and thought to himself how much he loved her and especially her modesty and shyness.

After what he thought was an adequate time for her to make herself decent he opened the bathroom door and stepped into the room.

Ann was shuffling towards him still buttoning her shorts with her eyes focused on the task.

When she finally looked up and saw him watching her she went immediately scarlet and looked away.

Dave took hold of her arm and pulled her towards him and she buried her face in his chest and held onto him in a vice like grip.

“I can’t believe you’re still shy” He said “after what we just did”

Ann didn’t answer

“But I love it that you are” he added

“Really?” Came a muffled query

“Yes” he replied “it’s why I love you so much

“You love me?” she asked in a childlike voice.

“Yes, so you’ll have to come out from my chest and give me a kiss,” he added

“A kiss?” she asked

“Yes, I must have a kiss” he insisted “Because I love you”

Reluctantly her head emerged from his chest but she still didn’t raise her eyes to look at him but said quietly

“I love you too”

Dave put his hand on her chin and lifted it gently up and then he put his lips to hers and so began a rather lengthy and immensely enjoyable kiss.

In fact it was such a deeply satisfying kiss that he began undressing her again and she offered no resistance.

ENTWINED IN THE AFTERGLOW

Passions spent in our libidinous embrace

Loves contented glow upon her face

I feel safe lying entwined in the afterglow

But in the morn will love melt like April snow

Or will its strength sustain in longevity

Or shall we remark upon its easy brevity

I could lay here forever cocooned in eternal love

We are a perfect fit, the hand, and the glove

But if it didn’t last forever I still had - this

Then gently on her soft flesh I leave a loving kiss

And I urged myself to live in the moment

And know that there I could be content

THE MARINERS TALE

Marked by the tides of love,

We almost breached the sea wall

Before our fortunes waned

And we began our Titanic fall

From the crest of a wave

To the depths of the deepest sea

Marks the rise and fall

Of the love between you and me

FILL ME UP

Without you in my life

My cup is an empty whim

Your love nourishes and fills

Me right up to the brim
