Those Memories Made on Teardrop Lake – (70) Love at Lovers Leap

Martin Price was staying at the Shallowfield Lodge Hotel at the head of Teardrop Lake as he did every summer as the view of the lake from the Hotel was spectacular.
The lake was shaped like a teardrop, hence its name, and surrounded by the ancient woodland of the Dancingdean Forrest.
It wasn’t a huge body of water, just over two miles long and almost a mile at its widest point.
It was beautiful and relatively unspoilt which was one of the reasons he chose it.
A lot of fishermen, walkers and avid bird watchers gravitated to the Finchbottom Vale.
Teardrop Lake and the surrounding woodland was privately owned and divided into twelve parcels of land, each with one significant dwelling on it, although there were a number of cottages dotted around the forest as well, some in use and some not.
It was both idyllic and peaceful, and there was little or no noise pollution and although the lake was used there were no speed boats or jet skis, only rowing boats, canoes, dinghies and skiffs.
But he wasn’t there just for the scenery and he had spent the first week of his holiday reacquainting himself with some of his old friends while making some new ones along the way, that was after all what he loved, he was first and foremost a social animal, but the one thing that Martin definitely hadn’t gone to Teardrop Lake for was to fall in love, but he did so nonetheless, not once but twice.
But it wasn’t just socializing that brought him back to Teardrop Lake year after year, because he did enjoy the Dancingdean Forest and his Lakeside walks immensely.

On one particular occasion he took a longer than usual walk owing to the larger than usual lunch he had consumed when he ran into Paula Rees, who worked at the Lodge along with her best friend Kerry Long.
She looked rather lost and lonely without her outgoing and bubbly sidekick Kerry.
Paula was a quiet, caramel skinned beauty who lived in the shadow of her more confident pale skinned friend.
The fact that she was adrift was evidenced by the rather pathetically forlorn creature that was ambling towards him.
“Hello Paula” he said
“Oh hello”
“You a bit fed up? Are you missing Kerry?” he asked
“Yes” she sighed “and she’s only been gone a few days”
She looked rather sad, which was possibly what tweaked at his heart strings, but unbeknown to him this chance meeting was anything but, because despite her being a fresh faced 20 year old student she was no innocent.
Being make up free made her pretty rather than beautiful but she knew how to use what she had with subtlety.
However Martin’s only thought was to cheer her up and put a smile on her soft lips, while she was lost and alone, he should have known better as he had fallen into that trap already with her friend, but he thought it truly serendipitous to meet her at the time.

Her friend Kerry on the other hand was cut from different cloth which was the most fundamental way in which she differed from Paula.
Kerry didn’t do things by chance, and she never went out without make up and when he had met her a few days earlier walking down that lane from the lodge it was because she had planned it that way whereas Paula was more haphazard.
Kerry was more calculating and when he had met her a few days earlier on the jetty by the lodge it was because she had planned it that way.
They ended up becalmed in the middle of the lake where she seduced him and once she had him body and soul, she cast him aside.
So he should have been a little more cautious with her friend but on that day fate had taken a hand.
“I’m just going for a walk” he said “would you like to keep me company?”
“Yes please” she replied

They walked the full length of the Northern perimeter road, from the Shallowfield Lodge all the way to lovers leap.
Once they had ooh’d and aah’d at the wonderful view out across the Dancingdean Forest proper Paula spread her towel on the flat rocky surface and lay down on her back.
Martin lay down beside her and she began caressing his hand and moments later they were kissing

So he made love to the dark skinned dusky and exotic Paula on the rocky outcrop of lover’s leap, her beautiful caramel skin glowing with lustre, only a few days after having the pale skinned peaches and cream Kerry steal his heart and break it in the same instant out on the lake.

He knew he shouldn’t compare them but he found it hard not to, being that they came as a pair and were both of the same tender age of 20 but he did so, and found that brash calculating Kerry failed to measure up to sweet quiet Paula in every way imaginable.
And on that day Paula took his heart and cherished it for a lifetime.

Those Memories Made on Teardrop Lake – (69) A Poor Little Rich Boy’s Christmas

Phil Marshall was 22 years old and an only child who lived with his parents in a huge 10 bedroom house in the village of Shallowfield on the edge of the Dancingdean Forest, and he had led a very privileged life and he was spoilt and conceited and had grown accustomed to always getting what he wanted.

So when the Purcell’s came to stay for the family Christmas gathering in the 1990’s and he set his cap for their eldest daughter Denise he fully expected to get his wish and sleep her.
She was a year younger than him with flaming red shoulder length hair and a busty undulating form that made his heart race.

He planned on wasting no time in getting in his Cousin Denise’s bed but alas on the first night beneath the Marshall’s roof he fell asleep while he waited for the house to fall silent.
So on the second night he made sure he didn’t succumb to sleep before Denise succumbed to his lust.
It was just after 1 am when he tiptoed across the landing in a Santa Suit, full of expectation but as he slowly opened the door he was greeted by the discouraging sight of Denise cuddled beneath the duvet with the family housekeeper Josie McCalonan.
As he stood watching, Denise suddenly opened her eyes and realised he was there and said
“There’s no one in here for you Santa we’ve had out presents” and she smiled contentedly.

Phil closed the door and turned around to find Denise’s older sister Rachel standing by her open bedroom door and as Rachel had carried a torch for Phil for several years she said.
“If she’s not interested I wouldn’t say no to a present”
Rachel was not as pretty or busty or as sexy as her sister but she was obviously straight, she was willing and she was standing across the landing so Phil decided that she may have been second best but he knew that she would still give him a Christmas to remember.

Those Memories Made on Teardrop Lake – (68) Molly’s Breakfast Suprise

Molly Webb was 5ft 6 with shoulder length blond hair and was a popular nurse at the Winston Churchill Hospital in Abbottsford in the 1990 and the general consensus among doctors and nurses alike was that she was drop dead gorgeous, they also knew all too well that she was aware of the fact and used it to her advantage.
Also on the staff at the Churchill was another blond nurse, more timid and less popular, who was her on/off girlfriend Samantha Ryan, who was a slightly plumper version of her lover.
When they first met, Sam thought she had found the one, and fell instantly in love, but for Molly it was different, she didn’t fall in love, she never had, for Molly it was all about the sex.
The other difference between them was that Sam was a lesbian, a woman only lesbian, she only went that way, she had never had a man, she had never been interested in a man, whereas Molly was cut from very different cloth and swung both ways and as often as possible, she loved men and women in equal measure.
But even with Molly’s wandering eye they always seemed to end up back together, Samantha for the love and Molly for the lust.

One of her regular lapses to the other side was with her rich cousin Pauline Barker who was a renowned philanderer who had a big house in the village of Shallowfield, a mile or so from Teardrop Lake.
It was a mutually gratifying relationship as Pauline put it about every bit as much as Molly did and played the field for both teams.

Another regular recipient of her not inconsiderable lust was paediatric registrar Polly Jones, a tall willowy brunette, 32 years old, stunningly attractive, with short brown hair and hazel eyes who was to all intents and purposes happily married to an oncologist, and she was happily married and had never been unfaithful to him with another man but other women were another matter and Molly was one of those lucky women.
They got together whenever they could, not as often as Molly would have liked but they made the most of it when they did.
They just had to be patient but for Molly that was sometimes easier said than done.

Polly was awoken earlier than planned, much earlier in fact, by a rattling of crockery from the kitchen and the sound of water running, a kettle filling probably.
She looked at the clock and it was 6.05am and it appeared she had an unexpected houseguest, she had no idea who it was and frankly it could have been anyone.
She knew who it wasn’t, her husband Derek, he was in Geneva for an Oncology seminar.
She was a bit miffed about being woken up as she was having a delicious dream about an operating table and the theatre sister, so she got out of bed and went to investigate the noise wearing a frown.
She threw on her robe and crept quietly downstairs, pausing only to stop and pick up a vase for self-defence.
But as she approached the kitchen Polly suddenly hesitated as she caught sight of Molly sitting on the kitchen counter waiting for the kettle to boil.
She didn’t make her presence known, instead she watched her through the crack in the door and smiled, because she was pleased to see her, because Polly had fallen in love with the slutty nurse.
“What are you doing here?” she asked “I thought you were on nights”
“I was but I swapped shifts with Danny” she replied
“Why?” Polly asked as she walked towards Molly and kissing her full on the mouth.
“Because I knew you were home alone and I really wanted to see you” Molly replied
“You’re horny you mean”
“Well yes, but that’s not the reason” she said
“Why then? If you just needed your itch scratching you could have used Samantha” Polly pointed out
“Because I missed you” she replied “and I just wanted to see you”
“So if I suggested that we just have breakfast together and nothing else, you would be happy with that”
“Yes” she replied and look down at her lap
“Because you’re special”
“What do you mean?” Polly asked with a racing heart
“I mean I think you’re special” she said “Very special”
“Are you trying to say what I think you’re trying to say?” Polly asked and held her breath
“Yes”
“You have to say it then” Polly insisted
It was hard for Molly because she’d never said it before, and meant it, because she had never felt it before but she took a deep breath and said
“I love you”
“Oh God I love you too” Polly said and wrapped her arms around her.

Those Memories Made on Teardrop Lake – (67) A Solicitor’s Deposition

(Part 01)

Pangbourne, Parker and Knowles were a firm of Shallowfield Solicitors with a very good reputation and a varied clientele and they handled a wide variety of legal work and kept a healthy number of Solicitors and large number of staff gainfully employed.
One of whom was 48 year old Divorcee Kayleigh Mascia who had been a Solicitor with the firm all of her professional life.
And during that long career she had given everything to the firm which had ultimately cost her her marriage and she never once questioned her commitment, but shortly after her 48th birthday she met Steve May.

Steve was the brother of one of her clients and she met him when he accompanied his sister to the office and they hit it off and on one visit an invitation was extended for him to join her for a coffee and he accepted, which she was delighted with, much more so than she would have expected.
He was an attractive man, tall and slim in his early fifties who always wore a tailored Italian suit, but it wasn’t his physique or taste in clothes that turned her head, it was his soulful eyes and when Steve cast those soulful eyes in her direction he was instantly struck by cupid’s arrow and when she spoke in her soft Downshire accent he was spellbound.

Kayleigh was petite and dainty with a pretty fine featured face framed by an abundance of red curly hair.
They were both divorcees and wary of going down the marriage path again and they rather liked the casual nature of their relationship which was similarly very discrete.
His visits to the office followed by coffee at Addison’s Cafe became a regular thing, and this later led to dinner a couple of nights a week at least.

But when his sister’s divorce was finalized he had no other reason to go to the offices other than to see her and if they continued they would doubtless have raised a few eyebrows, and they weren’t ready for that.
So they sought out other venues, where they could go to avoid prying eyes, they couldn’t go to her place because she had very nosy neighbours and they couldn’t go to his because he was house sharing with his sister since her divorce.
They could have gone farther afield and stayed at a Hotel, that was certainly an option, but twice a week, every week was not financially sustainable, and their relationship had, at that time not reached the level of intimacy where they could share a room, and they thought it would have made it all a bit seedy anyway and they didn’t want that, they just wanted to enjoy each other’s company.
Which was why they had to start thinking outside the box.

Some of Kayleigh’s clients didn’t like meeting at Pangbourne, Parker and Knowles or their own homes or premises for that matter so it was sometimes necessary to hold meetings in Hotel conference rooms or suites.
One of her favourite Hotels for such meetings was the Clayton Manor who had a reputation for discretion.
But conference rooms and suites were not hired by the hour, not at the Clayton anyway and such meeting never lasted all day so they had a venue where they could meet, and as the room hire was charged to the client’s account there was no cost involved to them.

In addition Gary Playford, the Hotel manager, was very accommodating, and once her client had departed, he would have the room set up for intimate dining, and would ensure once her dinner guest had arrived that they were not disturbed.

Steve arrived at the Clayton Manor Hotel shortly before lunch and, not for the first time, made himself known to the receptionist who had been told to expect him.
“Steve May” he said “I’m here to give a deposition”
But although they had met at the Clayton several times before this occasion was not going to be like his previous visits.

He was suited and booted in his hand made suit and Italia kid leather shoes and was directed to the second floor.
“The second floor?” he queried “I didn’t know you had meeting rooms on the second floor”
“You will be met at the elevator” the receptionist responded

He entered the lift and pressed 2 and when the doors opened he was greeted formally by Kayleigh in her Solicitorial way
“Hello Mr May” she said and shook his hand “Would you like to follow me, we’re in room 207”
So he followed her down the corridor until they arrived at their destination, Suite 207, very plush, and hanging on the door handle was a sign which read “Legal Deposition being taken DO NOT ENTER”

Just inside the door there was table bearing a briefcase and a pile of legal papers, just as you would be expected to find if it really was an official Deposition.
But Kayleigh led him beyond the vestibule and into the sitting room of the suite which had a dining table and two chairs in the centre of the room which was laid ready for an intimate dinner for two and the room was sympathetically lit for the occasion.
“Do you like it?” she asked as she walked toward him, she wanted everything to be just right because she had decided that that was the day that they took their relationship to the next level.
“Very nice” he said and stepped forward to meet her and then they kissed.
The kiss was of such intensity that Kayleigh was left in no doubt that Steve acquiesced with her plans.
So they shared a wonderful meal in their suite, all washed down with French Champagne, after which she had him for desert.

Tales from the Finchbottom Vale – (66) Rained Off

(Part 01)

Twenty eight year old Paul Ingram was involved with an older woman, a forty year old woman to be precise, who was a beautiful unhappily married, soon to be divorced Carrington Chase educated woman, called Francesca Carrington-Webber.
Paul and Francesca both lived in the village of Forest Dean situated equidistant between Shallowfield and Childean, she lived in a huge house that backed onto the The Forest Ridge Golf Club, and coincidentally Paul worked for the Golf Club.

They became involved after three chance meetings, two on a train and the third more significant one was on the Promenade in Sharpington, where he came upon her small huddled figure on the bench ahead of him in some distress and after some tender moments of consolation lead to them making love in his caravan.

Since that night they had had a non-physical relationship and on the rare occasions that they managed to get to spend some time together they always made the most of it, sometimes they had to create opportunities and sometimes they just happened and sometimes one of them managed to surprise the other but the biggest surprise came on the Halloween weekend when she arrived at his caravan dressed as a witch and announced that not only was she divorcing her husband David but that she was staying the night.

On the rare occasions that they managed to get to spend the night together they always made the most of it but sometimes they had to create opportunities and sometimes they just happened.

Paul was the commercial manager at the Forest Ridge Golf Club which was a job that gave him the opportunity to play himself.
He was quite a good golfer but he didn’t do it often as he had better uses for his spare time, but after he started seeing Francesca he took to playing a round of Golf more often, although in truth it was just a ruse, he would tee off at the appropriate time and play the first three holes and then meet Francesca in the woods for a kiss and a cuddle and if he was lucky they would go into her house for a more comfortable cuddle, but on that particular day he was only expecting to play Golf.
But too his great surprise and delight, as he was walking down the fairway he saw her standing ahead of him just beyond the treeline.
Francesca was a very attractive woman, but apart from the fact she was beautiful, sexy and breathtakingly sensual what set his heart racing was the fact that he loved her and she loved him.

It was an unpleasant morning; warmer than it had been the previous few weeks, but as those weeks were actually very cold that wasn’t really saying much.
But the skies were predominantly grey, for the time being, with only the occasional break in the cloud, but the forecast had mentioned the possibility of sunny intervals later in the day.
The wind had a slight chill to it but was fairly light and so it wasn’t expected to affect anyone’s scorecards too much, not that he normally worried about that, he didn’t normally play the full 18 anyway, but that day he was playing a friend.
Considering the morning’s grey weather the course wasn’t very quiet when he and Terry teed off at 8.30 there were a couple of twosomes ahead of them and at least three foursomes behind.

Considering the morning’s grey weather the course wasn’t very quiet when he and Terry teed off at 8.30 there were a couple of twosomes ahead of them and at least three foursomes behind.

As he approached, Francesca was looking lovely
“When didn’t she?” he thought to himself, and he smiled when he noticed her ensemble.
She was wearing a grey flat cap with her shortish brown hair scraped into a pony tail sticking out the back.
But it was the rest of her outfit that made him smile, it was as ever all matching and perfectly co-ordinated.
In deference to the season she was dressed for the early autumn, in a white cotton shirt, beneath a pale blue argyle cardigan, a knee length pleated skirt, very flattering, in the same grey fabric as her cap and long argyle socks, her ensemble was then finished off with black brogue Golf shoes and a pale blue glove holding a Golfing brolley above her.
“Damn she looks good” he thought
She was kitted out as a Golfer but she wasn’t dressed to play Golf
Her rationale was that she was blending in, after all, who would look twice at another Golfer on a Golf course.
He had seen her in that outfit many times before and on those occasion he normally ended up removing her from it, but that was an unlikely scenario that day.
Fortunately his friend Terry had sliced his tee shot into the woods on the other side of the fairway so he knew he was safe to go to her for a few minutes.
“Hi gorgeous” he said “I wasn’t expecting you to be here today”
“I wanted to see you darling” she said and they kissed
“I wanted to see you too” he confessed
They both knew what they wanted to happen; she wanted him to make love to her and share in the afterglow and he wanted her with him to share his bed.
“Come to mine” he implored
“I can’t” she replied “I have a million things to do”
“Are you sure?” he asked
“I’m sorry,” she said and forced a smile “I can’t”
“I’ll give you lunch as well” he countered
“I want to so much” she said sadly
Just then it started raining hard so they kissed goodbye and then went their separate ways, Francesca ran towards home and he ran across to find Terry, by which time the rain was falling like stair rods,
Although spring was underway the leaves were yet to appear so there was no protection from the rain,
“Shall we call it a day” Paul said
“Good idea” Terry agreed
So they took the shortest route back to the clubhouse and then Terry dropped him off at his home.

They got absolutely soaked to the skin as they jogged and trotted to the clubhouse so when Paul got home, the first thing he did after putting the kettle on, was change out of his wet clothes and into a dressing gown, he couldn’t believe in that short space of time that he could get soaked to the skin, even his pants got wet.
As the rain continued to beat down he was sat in his kitchen drinking coffee and regretting not being able to make love to Francesca.
He drained his cup and thought a hot shower was next on the agenda when there was a light tapping on the kitchen window.
When he turned around all he could see was an umbrella, so he walked to the window and the umbrella tipped backwards to reveal an absolutely sodden Francesca.
“Come round, come round” he said and went and opened the door
“You came” he said as she stepped through the door
“I couldn’t keep away” she replied and she kicked off her shoes by the door.
“Well I think we need to get you out of those wet clothes” he advised
“You promised me lunch first” she said indignantly
“Do you want lunch first?” he queried
“No” she replied and not for the first time that day they kissed.
But before they had time to act on their desires her mobile went off.
It was in the pocket of her skirt, she took it out and sat on a kitchen chair and answered it.
“Hi mum” she said with a grimace
“Yes I’m still in Abbottsford, if you could pick them up that would be fab”
“No I’m not sure how long” she said and Paul held up a couple of fingers and Francesca said “would two hours be ok? Brilliant, thanks mum, see you later, bye”
“Two hours?” she said to him “what are we going to do for two hours?”
“Come with me and I’ll show you” he said and led her by the hand and took her to his bedroom.

Half an hour later Francesca was draped across him with her head on his chest.
His hand was resting on her hip so he caressed her from hip to buttock and he kissed the top of her head and in response she hugged his torso and sighed smugly
“Now can I have lunch?” she panted

Tales from the Finchbottom Vale – (65) The Gentle Giant and the Christmas Maid

(Part 01)

Aaron Keller was a great bear of a man, standing 6’ 6” tall, barrell chested with hands like shovels.
But he was brought to his knees by a skinny Little waif standind 4’ 11” by the name of Toni Kendall.
They were both in their mid twenties, both had flaming red hair but he was a gentle giant who barely spoke and she was a little livewire who never shut up.
The other thing that they had in common was more significant and that was the fact that they were in love, though neither of them knew that they were the recipient of that love.
Aaron couldn’t imagine that a beautiful little thing like Toni could ever be interested in him, and she thought he was probably looking for someone as quiet as him.
They both worked at Maxlin’s Holiday Camp in Sharpinghead, she was a chalet maid and he was a general handyman.
Aaron lived in Sharpinghead but Toni was from Finchbottom and as the summer season was coming to an end she was running out of time, if nothing happened between them they would go their separate ways and they would be unlikely to see each other again, but if she got her way, and got her man, she would stay on.
She had been following him around the camp for the whole summer in the hope that he would take her in his arms, but no matter how much she flirted with him the result was the same and she cursed his shyness.

Toni finally got her man when they were on what was known as mothball duties, closing down those chalet that would not be needed during the winter season, which meant a major clean and then all the furniture was sheeted.
Because she was so tiny she managed to enlist the help of the gentle giant with moving the furniture, though she was more than capable of doing it herself, because she was much stronger than she looked, she just used it as an excuse to get close to him.
But despite her managing to get Aaron to help her, it didn’t really help her in the way she wanted because she was such a chatterbox, so even if he could have found the words he wanted to use he would have struggled to get a word in edgeways.

However every thing came good in the end when They were on their fifth chalet and all was not going well for Toni as she was hoping he might have made a move on her by that stage, afterall they were alone and had been in very close proximity on many occasions.
She was also annoyed at her self because although she was a confident sparky girl she hadnt just come out with it and ask him out.
What Toni wanted though was for him to ask her but nothing happened so she decided that she had to make him get physical.
Toni started by undoing the braces on his overall as he picked things up and when he reatached that one she undid the other and so on and so fourth until he took action.

However she didn’t know when she started messing around quite how physical he would get.
But she wasn’t complaining when the gentle giant had her draped over his shoulder and he was playfully smaking her knicker clad buttocks while he watched the reflexion of his handywork in the mirror.

(Part 02)

Toni didn’t know when she started messing around with Aaron quite how physical he would get.
But she wasn’t complaining when the gentle giant had her draped over his shoulder and he was playfully smaking her knicker clad buttocks while he watched the reflexion of his handywork in the mirror.
However he only gave her another two strokes before Toni called a halt to proceedings.
“Put me down” she screamed “Put me down now”
“What’s wrong baby girl?” he said playfully “Have you had enough?”
“Just put me down” she insisted, and as he lowered her to the floor he cursed himself under his breath for going too far, but he couldn’t help it, he was really having fun.
“I’m sorry” he said when she was stood looking up at him “I went too far didn’t I?”
“Don’t be sorry” she snapped and pushed him backwards onto a chair “You haven’t gone far enough yet”
“Oh?” he responded as she inched towards him and when they were nose to nose she kissed him.

After that first time they couldn’t keep there hands off eachother and suffice is to say that she didn’t return home to Finchbottom and stayed on at Maxlin’s and the prospect of spending all winter kissing and canoodling kept them warm.
Though they didn’t have many opportunities for work time kissing and cuddling as they didn’t often work together but when they weren’t working they didn’t go out in the world much.
But halfway through the winter they got to work together again when they had to reopen some of the chalets they had mothballed earlier in the year in preparation of the Christmas season and that was when they told each other that they loved them.

It had been over a year since Toni and Aaron got together but they were as mad for each other as ever and their second Christmas together was on the horizon.
When November finally arrived Toni decided it was time to decorate for Christmas but no one could remember where the decorations were put after the previous year.
After two weeks of searching every nook and cranny they were finally spotted in the loft in the staff block by the head of housekeeping, Christine Evans.

In the staff accommodation village there were rows of chalets, similar in design to the guest accommodation but much smaller, and at the center was the staff block.
This contained offices, store rooms and a common room, with comfortable chairs, where staff can sit around and relax, drink coffee and watch TV or just sit around talking.

Christine Evans hadn’t actually seen the decorations herself as she had never been in the loft, and that was because she was scared, partly of the dark but mainly of cobwebs and spiders, but one of her staff had seen them.

(Part 03)

Toni and Christine were stood talking in the common room when Aaron walked through the door.
“Did you want to see me?” he said to Christine
“Yes, we’ve located the Christmas Decorations” she replied
“So come on big boy” Toni said cheekily “it’s time to get the Dec’s down from the loft”

The entrance to the loft, where the Decoration’s had been seen, was via a large hatch way in the common room ceiling.
Aaron reached up one of his great paws and pulled the catch and the hatch swung open and then he pulled down the loft ladder.
“Are you going up?” he asked Christine knowing the answer
“No fear” she said and shivered
“Go on then Danger Mouse” he said to Toni “You go first”

Without hesitation she was straight up the ladder and Aaron followed quickly behind her and enjoyed the view up her skirt of her jiggling buttocks as she wiggled up the ladder, he enjoyed the view above the top of her long socks.
She knew that he would and frankly would have been disappointed if he hadn’t.
He would have pinched her bum if Christine hadn’t been looking on.

Once they reached the top Toni switched the light on and started looking around but despite the light the corners were quite gloomy.
So Aaron switched on his torch which Toni immediately snatched from his hand.
It was quite a large space and was used as an additional storage area during the peak season and during the course of the year the boxes of Christmas decorations, which had been put up there after the previous year’s festivities, were gradually pushed further and further back from their starting point.
“There they are” she squealed excitedly and rushed to the far corner of the loft.
She then got down on her hands and knees and began pushing boxes in Aaron’s direction.
“Oh shit” she exclaimed
“What wrong luv?”
“The Angel has fallen out of the box” she said sadly “and it’s fallen down behind this thing”
The “Thing” she was referring to was the wooden “A” frame that held the roof up.
“There it is” she said as she shined the torch beam into the darkness.
It hadn’t fallen too far but it was difficult to get at because of all the boxes in the way.
“Can you reach it?” she asked you’ve got longer arms than me”
“A T-Rex has longer arms than you” he retorted and laughed but he clambered up however he couldn’t get close enough to the objective to bring his long reach into play.
“I can’t get close enough” he said as he crouched down “I’ll just have to move these boxes”
“That will take too long” she said impatiently
“I’ll just have to wriggle between the woody things, you can hold onto my legs so I don’t fall”
“Ok” he replied and she headed towards the biggest gap while Aaron moved some of the boxes to accommodate his huge feet.
The gap she went for was a little above Aaron’s waist height but it was higher for a skinny little waif of 4’ 11”.
He was helping her through the small opening between the roof supports and she wriggled and squirmed like a little ginger fish.

(Part 04)

He was helping her through the small opening between the roof supports and she wriggled and squirmed like a little ginger fish.
“How are you doing?” he asked
“I’ve almost got it” she replied “another couple of inches should do it”
“Ok” he said and manhandled her a bit further and in the process the hem of her skirt was pulled up towards her waist and he was so mesmerised by what came into view that he absentmindedly caressed her plump little buttock .
“What was that?” She asked
“Cobwebs” he lied
“Ok” she replied doubtfully but he didn’t pay attention his mind was on other things as he took something from his pocket.
“I’ve got it” she shouted triumphantly “pull me back”
So he began retrieving her small frame from the darkness and lowered her to the floor.
“See I’ve got it” she said holding the angel up proudly
“Well done, its very nice” he said “But I thought you’d be more interested in this little precious parcel”
“Whats that?”
“I don’t know but it has your name on it” he said
“Has it?” she exclaimed and thrust the angel into his chest and tried to snatch the little parcel from his great paw but as Aaron was such a great bear of a man, standing 6’ 6” tall and she was
a skinny little waif standind 4’ 11” he easily held the gift out of her reach.
“Gimmi, gimmi” she said “you meanie”
“Calling me names isnt going to work” he said
“You used to be a nice boy” Toni said “But now you’re just mean”
“Ok I’ll take it away then” Aaron said and walked towards the loft hatch
“No don’t take it away” she pleaded and hopped up and down
“Please, please, please”
“I dont think you deserve it”
“But I do” she said “I really do”
“oh ok then” he relented and gave her the little parcel which she tore into in seconds to reveal a ring box and she gasped
“Whats this?” she asked in a whisper
“Open it and see” he instructed and after a deep breath she opened the box to reveal a solitaire diamond engagement ring and she gasped again.
“Is this what i think it is?” she asked
“I don’t know” he said “What do you think it is?”
“Is it an…. Engagement ring?” she asked in a childlike voice
“Yes” he replied
“You want to marry me?” Toni asked
“Yes” Aaron said and she launched herself at him and wrapped her arms around his neck, almost breaking the angel in the process, and kissed him.

Tales from the Finchbottom Vale – (64) Feeling Alive

On the rare occasions that they managed to get to spend the night together they always made the most of it but sometimes they had to create opportunities for example on the day of Derek Bronson’s funeral on a cold February day.

The Bronson’s were Francesca’s next door neighbour’s and Daphne was one of her closest friends and obviously on the day of the funeral she was in pieces and she leant heavily on Francesca.
Francesca’s mum stayed in her house and looked after her children and Daphne’s mother looked after the Bronson children IN Purplemere and Francesca looked after the widow in the Bronson house.
The warm weather of the spring was still in evidence on the day of the funeral and during the wake Daphne completely broke down and so Francesca had her taken home and the doctor was called.

Dr. Lutchford came downstairs carrying her bag and said
“I’ve given her a sedative” she said “So she’ll sleep until morning”
“Thanks doctor” Francesca said and as she closed the door behind her she smiled and got her phone from her pocket and typed a message.

Paul Ingram was still at the wake and talking to some friends when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket so he discreetly excused himself and read the message.
“Come now!!!”

He discreetly slipped away from the funeral and headed towards the Vicarage and then he turned down the lane by the church, which led to the path that crossed the golf course and from there he traversed the course until he reached the back of Francesca’s house and then he remembered he wanted the house next door and went in the back gate and ran across the lawn and tapped on the door.

(Part 02)

He discreetly slipped away from the funeral and headed towards the Vicarage and then he turned down the lane by the church, which led to the path that crossed the golf course and from there he traversed the course until he reached the back of Francesca’s house and then he remembered he wanted the house next door and went in the back gate and ran across the lawn and tapped on the door.

When the door opened the elegant figure of Francesca stood before him.
“Hello Paul” She said brightly then pretended to be solemn with a half-smile.
“You called madam” he asked
“What kept you” she retorted
“I had a call from a horny middle aged woman who didn’t leave a name” he said “so I tried the pretty ones first”
“You cheeky sod” she said “if I didn’t love you so much I’d send you on your way”

She was giggling as he took her in his arms, and when she stopped laughing he became aware of her hot breath on his neck, and her arms tighten around him and she began to nuzzle his neck and he could feel her breath panting on his skin.
“I don’t think that’s a very good idea” he said
“It’s alight Daphne has been sedated” she retorted and began nibbling his ear “So we won’t be disturbed”
“Don’t you find me sexy dressed like this” she whispered “everything I have on is black you know”
“I always find you sexy” he said “And I love you in black, but you are dressed for a funeral and not only is this the widow’s house but she’s upstairs”

“I know all that” she admitted “I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you like she lost Derek, I don’t even want to think about that”
“I’m not going anywhere” he said trying to make light of it
“Daphne didn’t think Derek was going anywhere” she said “And look what happened to him”
“I know it was very tragic” he agreed “But that won’t happen to me”
“I just want you to make love to me and make me feel alive” she pleaded while still nuzzling his neck and her hands began to caress up and down his back as her nuzzles turned to kisses.
In response to her plea he reciprocated the caresses and in an instant her soft lips were on his.

So on Daphne Bronson’s expensive Persian rug Paul made Francesca feel alive and then they lay beneath a throw and shared the words of love that had become the normal converse between them after making love.
Then Francesca needed to get up for a pee and she returned to find he had begun to get dressed.
“What do you think you’re doing?” she asked disapprovingly
“Getting dressed” he replied
“Well you can stop that right away” she said
“Why?”
“Because I’m going upstairs to check on the widow and then when I return you’re going to make me feel alive all over again” she said and giggled.
Paul looked at her as she laughed while wearing only stockings.
“Well I don’t think you should go dressed like that” he said
“Ooops” she exclaimed
